How the factory works
The concepts you need before your first card. Setup steps are in the quickstart.
Tokenalytics is in development. These documents describe the early-access build and may change.
Board
A board belongs to one repository. Its columns are the stages of your workflow. The default board has New, Todo, In progress, Review, and Done columns, mapped to the six lifecycle stages.
Card
A card is one unit of work: an issue, a pull request, or a piece of feedback. Each card has its own agent session, git worktree, timeline, and links back to its source.
Stage
A stage defines which agent runs, with which instructions and tools, and what must be true before a card can leave. See Workflow for the six default stages.
Gates
Three points always wait for a person:
- Moving a card into Todo starts work.
- Approving a plan starts building.
- Merging a pull request finishes the change.
Agents
Agents are Claude Code or OpenAI Codex sessions signed in with your accounts. Each runs in its own worktree. See Agents.
Capacity
Two limits decide when a queued card starts: the board's parallel limit (three by default) and the provider-reported usage windows of your connected accounts. See Accounts & capacity.
Records
Timelines, diffs, and check results stay with the card on your Mac. See Observability and Security.

The quickstart takes one repository and one issue.
